CONCISE EXPLANATION OF HAK COMMITTEES

To assist you listed below are the various committees which run the association and a brief explanation of what they do.  Should you wish to contact any of the members mentioned below please contact the HAK Office on the below email.  All Rules are accessible here on the website.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

This committee runs and maintains the whole Association. This is where the major decisions are made. For example finances, staffing, grounds, liaison with F.E.I. and other international associations.

The current Chairman of the Association is Louise Collette.

ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible for the practical supervision of the Association.  For example it makes sure that the Rules, Fines and Fees, Convenors of Shows & Events, Calendar and keeping records of the Association are kept up-to-date.

The current Chairman is Clare Hewitt-Stubbs.

TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

This committee is responsible to make sure that the running of the Association is working efficiently.  For example Rules, Training of Judges, athlete and equine, the running of each specific discipline (we currently have Dressage, Combined Training, Eventing, Show Jumping and Showing).

The current Chairman is Ann Abercromby-Dick.

Pony Clubs of Kenya – No current Chairman.

Each Pony Club has a Chairman: -

Kabete PC – Neel Shah

Mount Kenya PC – Jamie Murray
